What is a landing page?

Concretely, a landing page corresponds to the page on which a visitor lands after clicking on a link. While this may be sufficient in general, when used for marketing campaigns, this page makes much more sense.

The index or the home page

In general, the home page or index is the page that visitors come across when they click on a link that has no other parameters. This home page contains useful information to help visitors find what they are looking for. It is generally very graphic and dynamic, includes a complete menu and blocks to link to information to be shared. Because this home page has no other purpose than to provide information, it is intended for the general public.

How do I design a landing page?

Instead of being composed of dynamic graphics, links, a menu, and many other distractions, landing pages are short, simple, and accurate. The aim is to reduce unnecessary things as much as possible so that your message is clear and effective. The best way to create a landing page fully functional is to limit the number of distractions so that visitors can focus on what matters most. landing pages and the associated form should be simple. On the form you use to collect leads, you should only ask for the necessary information. If you ask for too much, you will probably drive your visitor away.

How can I easily recognize a landing page?

In simple terms, a web page must meet the following two criteria to be considered a landing page.The form on the page represents a conversion event. When visitors fill out the form for the free offer or anything else that is offered, the visitor will provide their email address and at the same time give you permission to send them an email. You can also use another type of form that offers, for example, the purchase of a product. In either case, the visitor must fill in the fields that provide you with useful information so that you can know enough to offer them other offers later. The sole purpose of this page is to capture information from your visitors thanks to this form. In other words, the page exists in order to push your visitors towards a conversion. Some web pages may come with a form, but exist for reasons other than entering a visitor's information.

Clickable landing pages

In addition to the landing page designed especially for capture leads, there are also clickable landing pages. These are designed to redirect visitors to other pages where they are usually offered additional information. These are intended to help the visitor make a purchase decision. Clickable landing pages are generally found on e-commerce sites where they usually lead to a registration page or a shopping cart. By convincing the potential buyer with concrete facts at each click through these pages, your chance to Convert to customer is significantly increased.
